Role Objective:

Responsible for monitoring project plans, design status, B.O.Q preparation,
procurement plans, Contracts plan, execution plan, project summary & expenditures.
Organize and participate in stakeholder meetings, and ensure that projects are met within the
budget and schedule. Act as a right hand for the management for getting accurate project status.

Functional Responsibilities:

• Coordinate with Planning Engineer, Regional coordinator, Project Manager,
design team, procurement & contracts team, logistics team, regional coordinator &
IT/Mega trade team prior and during the execution of new project.
• Effectively and accurately communicate relevant project information using
software to the project team.
• Conduct weekly review of project plans /schedule with project team and regional team.
• Initiates meeting with Project stakeholders so that all team members are alert and informed.
• Maintain close coordination with Contracts Manager and ensure that Contractors
are on board on time.
• Keep all project stakeholders informed about project status and issues.
• Keep a comprehensive checklist and act as per the check list so that no project
activities are missed out.
• Attend site meetings & follow up on important actions and decisions.
• Maintain close coordination with logistics team ensuring all materials reached
at site on time.
• Check B.O.Q variations are within the limits in coordination with QS.
• Use project scheduling and control tools to monitor projects schedules,
budgets and expenditures.
• Solve variations in drawings and site conditions in coordination with execution team.
• Ensure projects adhere to frameworks and all documentation is maintained
appropriately for each project.
• Assess project risks and issues in coordination with Project Manager and provide
solutions where applicable.
• Communicate ideas for improving company processes with a positive and
constructive attitude, and try inculcating this attitude in others.

Internal process

• Ensure development and deployment of Standard Operating Procedures in the region.
• Ensure optimum material usage and leverage on opportunities to reduce material costs.
• Review MIS and provide project progress reports to relevant stakeholders
accurately and within the specified times.

Any other additional responsibility could be assigned to the role incumbent from
time to time as a standalone project or regular work. The same would be suitably
represented in the Primary responsibilities and agreed between the incumbent,
reporting manager and HR.
