OBJECTIVE: Support the store head by managing the sales of jewellery and operations of the store; responsible for product management and promotion strategy and ensure that store meets the targets
Strategic and planning: - Support the Stores Head in aligning the sales strategy with the overall strategy and support in the achievement of the sales targets as per the annual business plan. - Ensure efficiency, quality improvements and cost optimization through improvements and benchmarks with leading practices. - Support the store head to ensure that the store meets the ROI, and other targets based on the annual business plan. - Support the Store Head in Planning BTL Marketing Activities
Functional: - Maintain stock account and tally the closing stock with accounts for jewellery; responsible for periodic replenishment of the jewellery stock by placing stock order through OMS. - Achieve category wise sales target ; support the Sales Executives to handle customer in case of any need, educate the customer for up- sell and cross- sell. - Responsible for periodic visit to the vendors for product selection. - Interact with hi-profile and wedding customers and understand their requirements and ensure that they are served as per Organizational guidelines. - Educate the customers about the product to build awareness and upselling. - Ensure availability of adequate resources in the section as per the manpower matrix. - Ensure duties and responsibilities of the sales staff are divided and monitored on a frequent basis. - Coordinate with visual merchandising team and ensure display of the products in the respective store is in line with the organizational standards. - Report all employee related problems to the Store Head and rectify it on a timely basis. - Meet HNI customers and officials as per requirement.
Internal Process: - Ensure that all activities are carried out as per the standard operating procedures (SOPs) in the section. - Achieve cost savings through implementation of process improvement initiatives. - Ensure adherence to all departmental processes, policies, procedures and standards such as regulatory guidelines on accounting and internal policies. - Review and provide regular and ad-hoc reports to management and other stakeholders as required.
People development: - Drive a performance driven culture in the team by timely monitoring, review of performance parameters and feedback to the team members. - Contribute towards development of talent for the department by providing subordinates with adequate exposure and growth opportunities. - Actively participate in HR initiatives to drive overall engagement and motivation.
Any other additional responsibility could be assigned to the role holder from time to time as a standalone project or regular work. The same would be suitably represented in the Primary responsibilities and agreed between the incumbent, reporting officer and HR.
