Job Summary: Responsible to conduct research and gather data for Marketing Research, Consumer Research, marketing analytics, business analytics, media planning, etc.
Roles and Responsibilities : • Gather data on consumers, competitors & market place and consolidate information into actionable items, reports and presentations. • Comprehend and communicate data using MS Excel. • Responsible to pull out data from different data sources and weave them together to gain singular view of customer. • Understand business objectives and design surveys to discover prospective customers’ preferences. • Compile and assimilate statistical data using modern and traditional methods and interpret insights. • Convert complex data and findings into understandable tables, graphs, and written reports. • Perform valid and reliable market research SWOT analysis. • Interpret data, formulate reports to make substantiated recommendations. • Document and communicate results. • Use online market research and catalogue findings. • Conduct competitive analysis on various companies’ market offerings, identify market trends, pricing/business models, sales and methods of operation. • Measure the effectiveness of marketing programs and strategies. • Evaluate program methodology and key data to ensure its accuracy. • Remain fully informed on market trends and implement best practices. • Understand new innovations in the area of market research, and create new ways to meet the needs of a changing marketplace. • Act as the single point of contact for all data requirements at MHQ in marketing department.
Any other additional responsibility would be assigned from time to time as a standalone project or regular work. The same would be suitably represented in the Primary responsibilities and agreed between the incumbent, reporting officer and HR
