Responsible for overall operations of the Human Resources department to ensure that all functions of HR go along with overall business plans and objectives.

• Develop an overall human resource strategy for Malabar Gold

• Measure and monitor employee engagement and satisfaction

• Ensure efficient design and delivery of all HR policies and ensure they are in line with industry practices

• Develop the manpower budget and plan for the company based on growth plans and targets

• Create positions within the organization structure for proposed showroom additions and determine scale wise manpower required

• Develop detailed role and job descriptions for each new position

• Design and implement enablers for creating a high performance workforce

• Review manpower plan on a regular basis

• Develop recruitment strategy for sourcing the required number of candidates for Malabar Gold – channels to be used, promotion, proposition etc.

• Interact with various outside agencies/ consultants (recruitment consultant , strategic HR consultant etc.) on regular basis to seek relevant services

• Facilitate the entire recruitment cycle and participating in the selection process.

• Complete the pre and post recruitment formalities

• Design and implement training programs for all employees - induction training, refresher training and need-based / skill-based training programs

• Develop and implement a comprehensive performance measurement system for all employees – objective, KRA-linked

• Put in place required IT tools / systems for management of performance across the organization

• Put in place a system for identifying and grooming "top talent" within the organization

• Develop and implement appropriate leadership development programs for management in the organization

• Ensure a strong pipeline of leaders in the organization

• Oversee the talent management practices

• Support in articulating the compensation philosophy for Malabar Gold and create a process for compensation management

• Implement suitable benefits and incentives programs

• Ensure compliance with all statutory policies, rules and regulations pertaining to employees

• Drive a culture of cost optimization in the department

• Ensure creation of strong employer brand for the organization targeted at existing and prospective employees

• Perform the role of People Manager for the department .
